Nagorik Uddyog organized its Central Half-Yearly Staff Coordination Meeting on 26-27 August 2026 at the Gano Kallyan Trust (GKT) Training Room in Purba Dashra, Manikganj, under the project “Community-based Dispute Resolution Mechanisms and Improving Gender-just Access to Justice in Bangladesh.”

The two-day meeting brought together the central project team, Area Coordinators, Program Officers, and Accounts & Admin Officers representing all five working areas of the project.

The first day focused on reviewing the project's first-year progress, reflecting on field-level challenges and discussing possible solutions. The team also shared findings from the Dispute Satisfaction Survey and discussed necessary updates to strengthen the programme database.

The second day focused on financial review, including budget, expenditure and accounts. The team then worked collaboratively to develop plans and priorities for the project's second year.
Mr. Zakir Hossain, Chief Executive of Nagorik Uddyog, joined the sessions and provided strategic guidance and direction for the upcoming year's work plan.

The meeting provided an important opportunity for the team to reflect on the year's progress, learn from field experiences and strengthen coordination across all project areas. The discussions concluded with a clearer direction and renewed commitment to advancing community-based dispute resolution and gender-just access to justice in the year ahead.
